Giannetti, Emanuele
Emanuele Giannetti, began his career very young, gaining important positions in Italy and abroad. He has created works outdoors as in 1980 when - still a student - was invited to Germany to Lhar Swarzvald in the Black Forest, where he designs and implements installation of marble and trees. The 'artist periodically checks her formal studies with important exhibitions, installations and projects focusing on the last period where the sculpture becomes architecture, environment, living space. His works are in museums, private collections and public banks in Italy, Switzerland, America, UAE, Russia, Germany, France, Korea, Japan. He is currently Professor for the School of Contemporary Arts in Sculpture in marble at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Roots in the exhibition presents works in which you feel a deep bond with the territory, humus soaks deeply archaic forms and materials, all filtered through the strict and sophisticated contemporary sensibility.
